Environmental Benefits

The benefits of beekeeping are varied, opening up numerous commercial opportunities in addition to the inherent environmental advantages on offer. Here at John O’Conner, our fully managed beekeeping services ensure that you can take advantage of the full range of benefits that come with having resident honey bees on your grounds.

Bees play a vital role in our ecosystem, they influence the sustainability of the local and wider environment through pollination of flowers and plant life. With John O’Conner’s beekeeping services, you have the chance to have a prolonged, positive impact on the environment, but that’s not all.

Beekeeping is also a powerful social and commercial tool. The experienced beekeepers here at John O’Conner handle all beehive maintenance programmes, and this can include the delivery of educational beekeeping demonstrations involving the local community.

A successful beekeeping programme also creates exceptional PR for your site, providing you with a unique focus for environmental marketing which can then be strengthened by hosting regular activities for local partners – such as schools, charities and other businesses.

The honey produced by your bees can also be extracted, bottled and sold to provide additional income – or used as handouts during promotional campaigns. Contact us today for more information.
